MACADAMIA BUTTER BISCUITS

Heat oven to 180C fan-forced

175g caster sugar

125g butter

1/2tsp vanilla

1 egg

225g plain flour

1tsp baking powder

100g macadamia nuts

Beat butter and sugar and vanilla till light and fluffy, then add egg. Sift through flour and baking powder and fold through chopped nuts. Roll into balls and arrange on baking paper-lined baking tray, pressing flat with a fork. Bake for about  18 mins or until golden. Dust with icing sugar if desired.
