Grow Your Own Lunchbox School Program
The Grow Your Own Lunchbox Challenge, an initiative of Mullumbimby Farmers Market, brings schools together to celebrate fresh, local food and kitchen garden learning. Students compete across produce, preserved goods, fundraising ideas, and a live Lunchbox Challenge using ingredients grown at school.

Music At The Market Every Week
Talented local musicians play live at the Mullumbimby Farmers’ Market each week and there are guest entertainers throughout the year.
The market is also known for springing a few surprises – from street poets to circus acts –you never quite know what’s in store.

Kiddies Plot For Creative Kids
Families love the market for its kid-friendly atmosphere, with the Kiddie’s Plot offering hands-on fun like gardening, permaculture, screen-printing and arts and crafts. During school holidays, extra activities such as candle-making, face painting and circus skills workshops with The Spaghetti Circus keep little ones entertained while parents enjoy the market.

Healthy Living & Creative Workshops
As part of its commitment to environmental education and sustainable local food production, the market runs free workshops on composting, soil health, permaculture and gardening, alongside cooking demonstrations by leading regional chefs celebrating fresh local produce.
