Caldera Farm
The Caldera Farm is located at Eungella, west of Murwillumbah. The family has been farming here for five generations.
At the heart of the Caldera Harvest stall is fourth-generation farmer Matt Everest, whose passion for family and farming is woven into every bunch, box, and basket of produce. Nestled on 1000 acres in Eungella, backing onto Mt Warning National Park, the Everest family farm is a true community effort — with siblings, kids, uncles, and parents all involved. What began with a few gifted acres of bananas has grown into a thriving patch of seasonal crops, sold directly to locals at the very market Matt helped found. For Matt, farming means connection — to the land, to his family, and to the community. Supporting Caldera means supporting that vision: fresh, local food that keeps the region thriving. Find Matt every Thursday morning at Byron Farmers Market.
