Northern Byron Hinterland Seed Swap

Is a local community group dedicated to preserving, sharing and growing open pollinated seeds suited to our region. They encourage seed saving, biodiversity and local food resilience by helping gardeners connect, exchange knowledge and maintain strong, adaptable seed lines.

Each quarter at Mullumbimby Farmers Market, the group hosts a Seed Swap where community members can bring seeds to share, swap varieties and learn more about seed saving and sustainable gardening practices. It is a simple but powerful way to strengthen local food security and community connection.
